How to manage Email Setting?

Email Setting
To send emails from FiNIMS, you must first configure the Email Setting.

 Go to System Settings > Email Setting.

  • FiNIMS supports two email delivery engines: SendMail and SMTP.

  • If you want to send email through your hosting server’s SendMail program, select SendMail engine.

  • If you want to send email using an SMTP relay, select SMTP engine.

You can also use Gmail SMTP relay by adding your Gmail account details. But make sure your Gmail account is set to allow less secure apps so that FiNIMS can send email through Gmail SMTP.

Now select the SMTP option and enter the details such as SMTP Username, SMTP Password, SMTP Server, SMTP Port, and then choose the required settings like SMTP Security (TLS/SSL/OFF) and SMTP Auth (ON/OFF). Finally, click on the Save button to apply the configuration in FiNIMS Institute Management System.

AWS SES (Amazon Simple Email Service) is a cloud-based email service that allows businesses to send and receive emails efficiently. It offers a reliable and cost-effective way to deliver emails to a large number of recipientsTo send emails from FiNIMS Institute Management System, you need to configure the email settings.

  • Go to System Settings > Email Settings.

  • Under Email Engine, you will see the options SMTP and AWS SES.

  • Click on AWS SES (Amazon Web Service, Simple Email Service).

  • Enter your Email Address, Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, and Region.

  • Finally, click on the Save button to apply the settings.
