About Fees Collection

n the Fees Collection module, you can easily handle student fee management and keep track of all fee-related records. The Fees Master is session-based, so you need to set up Fees Master data separately for every session. In this module, you can collect student fees, apply discounts, and track payments using the payment ID.

Fees Collection Workflow:
First, configure the Fees Type, Fees Group, Fees Master, and Fees Reminder to prepare the fee structure for the current session. After that, you can collect student fees, search for payments, check pending dues, and generate reports. Students can also view their fee details and make payments.

In FinIMS (Institute Management System), the fee structure is created using:

Fees Type – Different categories of fees such as Admission Fees, Monthly Fees, Uniform Fees, Exam Fees, Library Fees, Sports Fees, Transport Fees, etc.
Fees Group – Used to create different groups of fees. A fee group can be assigned to an entire class-section or a specific student. You can also design fee groups as installments.
