The term Captcha stands for “Completely Automated Public Turing-test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.” It is a randomly generated code, usually displayed as an image, designed to protect web forms from automated submissions. Captcha ensures that the form is being submitted by a human rather than a program or script.

FiNIMS uses text-based Captcha, which typically consists of known words or random combinations of letters and numbers. Users must read the code shown in the Captcha box and enter it correctly into the text field to proceed. In FiNIMS, Captcha verification is provided for five events: User Login, Admin Login, Online Admission, Complaints, and Contact Us forms.

To enable Captcha, go to System Settings > Captcha Setting, and from there, you can activate it for the events where you want Captcha verification to be applied.
