How to manage student / guardian panel?

User Login Option

To access the User Login Option for students and parents, navigate to System Settings > General Settings. Then, click on the Student/Guardian Panel tab. At the top, you will find the User Login Option setting.

 By using the User Login Option, you can easily manage both student and parent logins. Simply check or uncheck the box next to the student or parent option to enable or disable their login access.

If the student login checkbox is checked, the student can access their panel. However, if the parent login checkbox is unchecked, the parent will not be able to log in to their panel.

 On the other hand, if the student login checkbox is unchecked, the login option will be disabled for both the student and the parent. This means neither of them can access their panels. In short, for a parent to log in, the student must have login permission enabled.

Additional Username Option for Student Login

In this option, students can log in using their Admission Number, Mobile Number, or Email.
However, this flexibility is only available if the Superadmin grants permission by checking the corresponding checkboxes (Admission Number, Mobile Number, and Email).

Additional Username Option for Parent Login

In this option, parents can log in using their Mobile Number or Email.
This access is only available if the Superadmin allows it by checking the corresponding checkboxes (Mobile Number and Email).

Allow Student To Add Timeline

This option controls whether a student can add content to their Timeline.

  • If the checkbox is enabled, students will be able to add posts/updates to their timeline.

  • If the checkbox is disabled, students will not have permission to add anything to their timeline.

Allow Student To Add Timeline

When you enable timeline permission for students:

  • The ‘Add’ option will appear in the student panel.

  • Students will be able to add, edit, and delete items in their timeline.

When you disable this permission, students will not see the ‘Add’ option, and they cannot make any changes to the timeline.

When Timeline Permission is Disabled

If you disable timeline permission for students:

  • The ‘Add’ option will disappear from the student panel.

  • Students will not be able to add anything to their timeline.

Note:

Students can only edit or delete the timeline entries they have added themselves.
They cannot edit or delete any timelines that have been added by the Superadmin.
